The KZN Film Commission (KZNFC) has appointed LUMEC to undertake research on the Socio-Economic Impact of Micro-Budget Films in KZN. For the purpose of the study, micro-budget films are defined as full-length feature films with a minimum running time of 40 minutes and a total production budget of less than R1,2 million. If you have made a micro-budget film in KZN over the past 10 years, please follow the link and assist us by completing a quick questionnaire - https://goo.gl/forms/pE4560NNZJUiwo3w1. Your inputs will assist the KZNFC to determine the impact that micro-budget films are having on the KZN Film Industry, to identify the major challenges and constraints facing filmmakers, and potential opportunities and interventions to support development of micro-budget filmmakers.
